      Future Climate Risks

Axel walks through how iLoveNatura analyses climate risk for an area: temperature, wind, rainfall, aridity and evapotranspiration — from 1940 into the future.

      Future Climate Risks

      Published on May 13, 2026

      What it does

Future Climate Risks is the tool to quantify the environmental risks of a place over time. You pick a location, choose the analyses you care about, and iLoveNatura builds charts showing how the climate changed from 1940 until today — and how it is projected to change going forward.

      Available analyses

      • Temperature — historical trends and projections
      • Rainfall — precipitation and seasonal regime
      • Wind — intensity and direction
      • Weather distribution — frequency of extreme events
      • Aridity — drought index over time
      • Evapotranspiration — soil water balance

      How to use it

      1. Go to the Tools section of the site
      2. Open Future Climate Risks
      3. Search and select a location (e.g. Milan)
      4. Tick the climate analyses you want
      5. Click Generate new analyses

Within seconds the charts are ready: you can see how the climate changed from 1940 to today and the projected trends for the decades ahead.

      Transcript

Giorgio (Host): We've built a tool to identify and quantify environmental risks. Obviously I didn't build it myself — let's grab one of the devs. Axel, can you tell us how this tool works?

Axel: Sure Giorgio, let me show you. We're on the iLoveNatura site, in the tools section, and we can click "Future climate risks". In this case we need to pick a location — let's do Milan. I type Milan, select it. There we go, we're over Milan, so next. We can pick all the climate analyses we care about: temperature, wind, rainfall, weather distribution, aridity, and so on. Then we click "Generate new analyses". The analyses start loading: we can see how the climate changed from 1940 to today and into the future — the various trends for temperature, rainfall, evapotranspiration, weather, and so on. Thanks to these charts you get a sense of the trends both in the past and looking forward.

      Biodiversity around me

A tool to see how biodiversity is doing on your land: overall score, diversity broken down by taxa, species distribution and conservation status.

      Biodiversity around me

      Published on May 13, 2026

      What it does

Biodiversity around me is the tool to understand — in a few clicks — how biodiversity is doing across an area you care about.

Starting from the area you pick, it returns:

      • A synthetic biodiversity score for the local area
      • A diversity analysis of species, broken down by taxa (mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, plants, etc.)
      • The distribution of taxa across the area
      • The conservation status of the species present

      Who it's for

      • Land owners who want to understand the natural value of their parcel
      • Public administrations planning conservation work
      • Companies that need to map biodiversity at their sites for ESG reporting or monitoring
      • Researchers looking for a starting point before deeper analyses

      Transcript

Host: Want to know how biodiversity is doing on your land? At the end we give you a score index, a diversity analysis, the trophic status of the species broken down by taxa, the distribution of taxa and the conservation status.

      ESG Report Analyzer

Upload your ESG report and within seconds get an overall score, 15 indicators split across Environment/Social/Governance, strengths and improvement areas, plus your sector's market benchmarks.

      ESG Report Analyzer

      Published on May 13, 2026

      What it does

The ESG Report Analyzer reads a sustainability report you upload and returns, within seconds:

      • An overall ESG score based on 15 evaluated indicators
      • Three sub-scores split by Environmental, Social and Governance pillars
      • The strengths of the report and the areas with room to improve
      • A market benchmark: where you sit versus the average of your sector (percentile)

      What you need to provide

Five pieces of context are enough to get started:

      1. The industry sector
      2. The company size
      3. The reporting framework (GRI, ESRS, etc.)
      4. The market you operate in
      5. The company name

Then upload the report and hit the "magic button". The tool does the rest.

      When to use it

      • To self-assess an ESG report before publishing it
      • To benchmark your ESG maturity against your sector average
      • To prioritise the areas worth investing in for the next reporting cycle

      Transcript

Host: Tired of reading endless reports? I've got the solution. Come with me, I'll show you what we built: the ESG Analyzer, a tool to analyse your reports the simple, fast way. Based on the configuration you give it, we respond with market benchmarks and recommendations. Super simple: upload a report, fill in industry sector, company size, reporting framework, market and name. For example, I'll put "3Bee" with 3Bee. Magic button. We uploaded the report, the tool analyses it for us. This is an overall ESG score based on the 15 evaluated indicators, split across environmental, social and governance aspects. Here's some context, and the tool also shows the strengths and the areas to improve. Over here we have a benchmark overview, showing where our report sits compared to the sector: in this case we're here on percentile, and the average is this one.

Host: Today we're figuring out what "iLoveNatura" is. I'm not the one to explain it — I don't know any of this stuff — so let's go ask one of our devs who built it. Gaia, can you tell us what "iLoveNatura" is? Explain it like I'm five so we actually get it.

Gaia: It's really a digital toolkit that helps us keep an eye on the biodiversity around us. So: understand environmental problems and use these tools to analyse them. You don't have to be an expert to use them — you just sign up and get started. To sign up you click here, log in with Google or register with an email and password.
