The Historical Climate — Apparent Temperature indicator shows the historical trend of apparent temperature, calculated by combining actual air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and solar radiation. For each day, mean, maximum, and minimum values are provided.
Apparent temperature reflects how the environment is actually perceived by organisms and is more relevant than air temperature alone for phenological predictions, heat stress assessment, and agricultural planning.
Data come from the Open-Meteo Historical Weather API. The variable used is apparent_temperature (daily mean, max, min). The calculation integrates temperature, humidity, wind, and radiation using the Steadman model. Data are interpolated to the site's position.
