Source dataset has 285,461 raw polygons across 3 ZIPs (North, Centre, South+Islands); dissolved by GeologicUnit id to 8,934 features. Reprojected ETRS89 -> WGS84, ages mapped to era via ICS keyword table (97% coverage). Tiled into Sentinel-2 MGRS T32-T33 (75 stored tiles), stored as GeoPackage on s3://3bee-esabloom-satellite-assets/map_nat/IT_GEOLOGICAL_MAP/. Follows the ProtectedAreasReader pattern: each polygon is a separate area card with its own label, age, description, and tectonic zone.
