Air Temperature is one of 12 user-selectable climate variables in the Future Climate KPI. It shows the daily time series of projected daily air temperature under CMIP6 climate scenarios. This is an exploratory visualization tool with no A-E quality scores.
Data are sourced from the Open-Meteo Climate API (CMIP6 ensemble) at ~25 km resolution with 2015-2100, daily coverage.
Line Chart. Daily time-series chart showing projected daily air temperature under CMIP6 climate scenarios, color-coded by severity.
Purpose: How has air temperature varied over time?
Description: Daily values (C) as colored dots from blue (normal) to red (extreme anomaly).
How it's calculated: Each daily value is compared to model baseline and colored accordingly.
Interpretation example:
A cluster of red dots indicates values in the extreme percentiles of the reference distribution.
