Rain is one of 12 user-selectable climate variables in the Future Climate KPI. It shows the daily time series of projected daily liquid-phase rainfall under CMIP6 climate scenarios. This is an exploratory visualization tool with no A-E quality scores.
Data are sourced from the Open-Meteo Climate API (CMIP6 ensemble) at ~25 km resolution with 2015-2100, daily coverage.
Line Chart. Daily time-series chart showing projected daily liquid-phase rainfall under CMIP6 climate scenarios, color-coded by severity.
Purpose: How has rain varied over time?
Description: Daily values (mm) as colored dots from blue (normal) to red (extreme anomaly).
How it's calculated: Each daily value is compared to model baseline and colored accordingly.
Interpretation example:
A cluster of red dots indicates values in the extreme percentiles of the reference distribution.
