The layer maps the prevalence of water-driven soil erosion over the area of interest. Each pixel reports the predicted percentage of area affected by erosion (0 to 100%), produced by ICRAF and distributed through Resource Watch.

The reader loads the Google Earth Engine image projects/resource-watch-gee/wat_070_rw0_soil_erosion/wat_070_rw0_soil_erosion_2020 (band classification), clips it to the polygon, and downloads it at ~250 m. Larger areas are split into quadrants and merged. The output is rendered with an earth-tone colormap scaled 0 to 100% (light to dark brown).
